CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Participants are invited to submit original abstracts for poster presentation.

The deadline for abstract submission is 25 July 2025.

Only online abstract submissions will be considered. Abstracts sent by mail cannot be accepted.

A discount of R1000 on the registration fee of the first author will be given to all accepted posters.

Guidelines for Abstract submission 

Please be advised that the topics are unrestricted and not limited to Paediatrics.

Authors are requested to conform to the guidelines for submission of abstracts:

• The abstracts must be submitted in English. All abstracts will be reviewed and may be selected for poster presentation or may be rejected.
• The time allotted for poster presentations is 6 minutes (4 minute presentation and 2 minutes for questions). English will be the language for all oral and poster presentations.
• Only abstracts submitted online will be considered for inclusion in the programme.
• The word limit for abstracts is 550 words.
• The system allows you to edit and save your abstract but once the abstract has been submitted for review, editing will not be possible.
• The criteria according to which all abstracts will be reviewed are provided as a way of guiding the development of your submission. These include:

• All abstracts will be reviewed.
• Notification of acceptance or rejection by the Local Scientific Committee will be mailed to the presenting author from 1 August 2025.
• We strongly encourage submitting authors to register via the online registration system simultaneously with the abstract submission.
• Failure by the presenting author to register by 14 August 2025 will imply that the presentation will not be included in the final program.
