Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to present the 5^th virtual symposium – The role of the radiographer, in keeping with the World Radiography Day theme of the ISRRT. I invite you to come join us. It is just over a year that we have started presenting these virtual symposia and to date they have been a great success. This symposium is somewhat different compared to the previous four in that we have incorporated the open meeting. This meeting is open to both SORSA members and non-members.

I trust that you will find this symposium, and those previously held, enriching and a meaningful learning experience. May these symposia contribute positively towards your duty of lifelong learning as a healthcare professional. Not only to maintain your registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa but also to keep abreast with advances in the profession so that you can ensure that you always provide the most appropriate and effective service.
