We take great pleasure in announcing the 4th RSSA/SASPI Paediatric Imaging Congress which will take place at the Investec Building, Cape Town from 14 – 16 November 2025. This congress will focus on Paediatric Neuroradiology, Head and Neck Imaging and Musculoskeletal Imaging. The Faculty consists of several internationally renowned Paediatric Radiologists.
The congress is aimed at general radiologists in both public and private sector with an interest in paediatric imaging.

Professor Caroline Robson, Division Chief of Paediatric Neuroradiology at the Boston Children’s Hospital and Associated Professor of Radiology at the Harvard Medical School. Dr Robson is a past president of the American Society of Paediatric Neuroradiology and the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology.
Dr Kshitij (Kish) Mankad, Consultant Paediatric Neuroradiologist and the Clinical Lead for Paediatric Neuroradiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), London, UK. He is an Associate Professor at the Great Ormond Street UCL Institute of Child Health.
Dr Caren Landes, Consultant Paediatric Radiologist and Clinical Director for Diagnostics and Clinical Services at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust.
Prof Savvas Andronikou, Vice Chair of Research and Director of the section of Pulmonary Imaging at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and also full professor at University of Bristol (UK) and University of Cape Town (South Africa).

The 4th RSSA/SASPI Paediatric Imaging Congress Steering Committee consists of Dr Tanyia Pillay, Chair of the South African Society of Paediatric Imaging (SASPI), Head of Unit of Radiology at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, Dr Jacqueline du Toit, Paediatric Radiologist in private practice, Dr Ashmitha Rajkumar, Consultant Radiologist at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital and Dr Paul Rischbieter, Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA) CME Chair.
We invite colleagues from across the country to register early to secure a place for this Spring gathering in the Cape, an ideal
