Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming RSSA MSK Imaging Course, which will be held at The Westin Hotel, Cape Town.

This intensive program will combine a balanced mix of learning formats: approximately 20% will focus on didactic lectures addressing imaging approaches and joint assessment, 20% will be devoted to a review of frequently encountered pathologies, and the remaining 60% will consist of case-based interactive sessions. Each participant will have access to a workstation to independently work through cases. Topics will include imaging of the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, ankle, and foot, with additional dedicated sessions on tumors, infection, and advanced sports imaging.

The course will be led by an exceptional faculty: Dr Chris Agten, an accomplished musculoskeletal radiologist with extensive teaching experience and founder of Agten Radiology, which continues to provide global educational support; Dr Philip Robinson, President of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology and a recognized authority in sports imaging; and Dr Catherine McCarthy, a respected figure within the radiology community, head of the Oxford Musculoskeletal Radiology group, and highly experienced in tumor and infection imaging.

With a strong emphasis on musculoskeletal MRI, the program will also highlight practical strategies for enhancing both efficiency and quality in imaging practice.

This course is of particular relevance to radiologists in South Africa, where MSK imaging is an increasingly integral part of daily clinical work.

On behalf of the Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA), we warmly welcome our esteemed international faculty and look forward to an educational and inspiring gathering.
