RSSA/SASNI/ESNR Spinal Imaging Course

27 – 29 May 2022

The Capital on Park Hotel, Sandton, South Africa

One of the mandates of the Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA) is to bring world leaders in imaging to South Africa. Continuing this tradition, we are delighted to welcome you to a joint meeting of the RSSA’s Neuroradiology subgroup, the South African Society of Neuro Imaging (SASNI), and the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR).

Diagnostic Radiologists in South Africa are the fortunate beneficiaries of the generous participation and financial support which make conferences such as this possible. Special thanks go to Prof Johan van Goethem (Past President of ESNR), Prof Pia Sundgren (President of ESNR, Past President of ISMRM) and Prof Leon Janse van Rensburg (Former RSSA Congress Chairman) who were involved in the initiation of this meeting.

The result of more than two years of collaborative planning by members of both societies, the program reflects cutting edge themes and strategies in Spinal imaging.

The result is a well- balanced combination of practical review and state-of the art and will, we believe, find an audience in a wide range of specialities including radiologists and radiographers, neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons.

The international faculty comprises distinguished radiologists from Europe:

ESNR Faculty

South African Neuroradiologists including ESNR Neuroradiology Diplomates (EDiNR) are involved the programme. The program includes a sponsored Breakfast Session on Saturday 28 May 2022 by GE Healthcare and an Ethics lecture.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of all our sponsors whose commitment to Radiology teaching and training is appreciated and indispensable. Thank you very much.

In the current COVID-19 environment we may all need to have a level of flexibility in case there are any circumstances that may lead to the need for contingency arrangements. We will keep in close communication in this regard.

The course will take place in The Capital on Park Hotel in Sandton - conveniently only a 9 minute walk from the Gautrain Station.

We invite you to join your colleagues at the RSSA|ESNR|SASNI 2022 Spinal Imaging Course.

Sincerely,
